2020 Kishwaukee Valley Storm Coaches
18U- Head Coach Jim Varga. Coach Varga will enter his 20th season with the Storm organization as a Head or Assistant Coach. His assistants for the 2020 season will be Tim Simmons and Hannah Weatherly. Tim is the current head coach of our 16U team this year and has assisted in past years as well. Hannah played numerous years in the Storm program and played college softball at Clarke University in Dubuque, Iowa.
16U- Head Coach Steve Heide. Coach Heide will enter his 20th and final season as a Head Coach for the Storm Organization. He will be joined by Isabel Odom & Brooke English who will be entering their 3rd seasons as assistant coaches. Isabel & Brooke played numerous years with the organization, played prep ball with the Sycamore Spartans and in college at Kishwaukee Community College. Also helping out during some winter practices and next summer will be Ally Versluys. Ally coached with the team this year and also played for the Storm organization, the Sycamore Spartans and is currently enrolled and playing softball for the Indiana Tech Warriors in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
15U- Head Coach Duke Mitchell. Coach Mitchell will enter his 3rd season as a Head Coach for the Storm Organization. He will be joined by Faith Roush in her 2nd season as an assistant coach. Faith played 3 seasons with Storm, her prep ball at Rochelle Township High School and is currently a member of the Kishwaukee Community College Softball team.
