2023 KV Storm 18U Coaching Staff
This is Coach Heide's 23rd season with the Storm organization. Steve has coached at all age groups throughout those seasons but has spent the majority of those years developing players within the 14U & 16U age groups. This will be his 4th season at the 18U level over the years. Steve's priorities for the team are simple, learn the game so you can love the game, be an awesome teammate, respect those in leadership positions and always give 110%. God, family, school and sport, in that order.
Isabel Odom
Associate Head Coach- Pitchers/Catchers
This is Coach Odom's 6th year as an a Coach with the Storm organization. Coach Izzy has earned her title as Associate Head Coach for the 2023 season. Isabel pitched for Sycamore High School and Kishwaukee College in her playing days. She spent her summers pitching for the Sycamore Flash and KV Storm 16U & 18U travel teams. Coach Izzy is responsible for the development of the pitching staff with off season and in season workouts as well as game day preparations for the team. She is also currently on the Coaching Staff at Waubonsee Community College.
Anna Criswell
Assistant Coach- Outfield
This will Coach Criswell's 3rd season as an assistant coach with the Storm organization. Anna played with the Storm organization from 8u through 18U. She has learned how we do things over that time and will continue to be an asset to our team.
Gracyn Gabrel
Assistant Coach- Infield
This will be Coach Gabriel's 2nd season as an Assistant Coach with the 18U team. Gracyn is currently enrolled at St Francis University and plays on the softball team. We will expect to see her over the winter and of course next summer!!
